# Terms and Conditions **Last updated: 28 July 2026** ## 1. About these terms These terms and conditions set out the rules for using the Football Safety App, our website at footballsafetyapp.com, and any related services we provide (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Cayson Global Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16519378, with its registered office at 51 Vittoria Street, Birmingham, B1 3NU. In these terms we refer to ourselves as "we", "us" or "our", and to you as "you" or "your". You can contact us at any time by emailing support@footballsafetyapp.com. By downloading the app, creating an account, submitting a report or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to follow them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Services. ## 2. Other terms that apply to you These terms should be read alongside: - Our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data. - Our Cookie Policy, which explains how we use cookies on our website. - Any additional terms that apply to a specific reward, partner offer or promotion, including the prize draw terms set out in section 11 below. Where you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the terms of those stores also apply to your download and use of the app. ## 3. The Services in brief The Football Safety App allows fans, players, staff and members of the football community to report incidents and safety concerns quickly and simply. This includes racism and discrimination, offensive language, physical abuse and intimidation, online hate, abuse experienced while travelling to or from a match, and any other concern about the safety of yourself or others. Reports can be submitted openly or anonymously. Depending on the nature of the report and the club or organisation involved, reports may be passed to the relevant club, safeguarding body, venue operator or law enforcement agency so they can be reviewed and actioned. ## 4. Important safety notice **The Football Safety App is not an emergency service and is not monitored 24 hours a day.** If you or someone else is in immediate danger, or a crime is taking place, call 999. For non-urgent police matters, call 101. If you are inside a stadium, alert a steward or a member of club safety staff straight away. We cannot guarantee how quickly a report will be seen or acted upon, and we do not promise any particular outcome. Decisions about what action to take following a report are made by the relevant club, venue, safeguarding body or authority, not by us. ## 5. Who can use the Services The Services are intended for users aged 16 and over, and for use within the United Kingdom. The app is not designed for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. If you are aged under 18, please speak to a parent, guardian or other trusted adult before creating an account or submitting a report. ## 6. Your account Some features require you to create an account. When you do, you must give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account. If you think someone else has accessed your account, please contact us at support@footballsafetyapp.com as soon as possible. You can delete your account at any time through the settings section of the app. ## 7. Submitting a report When you submit a report, you agree that: - The information you provide is accurate and given honestly, to the best of your knowledge and belief. - You will not submit a report that you know to be false, malicious, vexatious or made to harass, intimidate or damage the reputation of another person. - You will not use the reporting function to settle personal disputes, to make abusive or discriminatory comments, or to send content that is unlawful. - Any photographs, video, audio or other material you upload has been captured lawfully and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Submitting deliberately false reports may be a criminal offence. We may suspend or close your account, and where appropriate we may share information with the police or other authorities. Once a report has been submitted and shared with a club or authority, we may not be able to withdraw it. ### Reports about you If a report is made about you, we will handle any personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. We are not responsible for any decision a club, venue, employer or authority makes as a result of a report. ## 8. Anonymous reports You can choose to submit a report anonymously. **If you select the anonymous option, your report stays anonymous.** We do not attach your name or contact details to the report, and we do not disclose your identity to the club, venue, safeguarding body or any other recipient of that report. Please bear in mind: - The content of a report may itself identify you, for example if you describe where you were sitting or your relationship to the people involved. Please think about this before you submit. - Because we do not know who you are, we cannot contact you for further information about an anonymous report, and we cannot give you an update on its progress. - If we are required to disclose information by law, by a court order or by a properly made request from law enforcement, for example where there is a serious risk to life, we may have to comply. In practice, for genuinely anonymous reports we will normally hold no information capable of identifying you. ## 9. Acceptable use You agree not to: - Use the Services in any way that breaks the law, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose. - Upload or send anything that is abusive, threatening, obscene, discriminatory or defamatory. - Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app, our servers or any connected system. - Introduce viruses or any other malicious code. - Copy, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from the app or any part of it, except where the law allows this. - Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or extract data from the Services. - Impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to any club, organisation or authority. - Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our written permission. We may suspend or withdraw your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these rules. ## 10. Rewards and partner offers We work with third party brands to offer discounts and rewards to app users. These offers are provided by the third parties themselves, not by us. - Each offer is subject to the terms, conditions and expiry dates set by the brand providing it. - Offers may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time, with or without notice. - Availability, delivery, quality, returns and customer service for any purchase you make are the responsibility of the brand you buy from. - Discount codes are for personal use only and must not be shared publicly, sold or reproduced elsewhere. We are not a party to any contract you enter into with a partner brand and we accept no liability for those transactions, other than as required by law. ## 11. £50 voucher prize draw The following terms apply to our advertised prize draw. 1. **Promoter.** The promoter is Cayson Global Ltd, 51 Vittoria Street, Birmingham, B1 3NU, company number 16519378. 2. **Eligibility.** The draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 or over who have downloaded the Football Safety App and hold a registered account. Your data We take the handling of your data seriously. **All data collected through the Services is stored in the United Kingdom.** Where we use service providers who need to process data outside the UK, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement, so that your data receives an equivalent level of protection. Full details of what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have are set out in our Privacy Policy. ## 13. Intellectual property All content within the app and on our website, including the Football Safety App name, logo, branding, text, graphics, icons, software and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property rights. We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non commercial use. You may not use our branding, or that of any partner club or organisation, without written permission. Where you submit content through a report, you keep ownership of it. You grant us a licence to store, process and share that content as needed to operate the Services and to pass the report to the appropriate club, organisation or authority. ## 14. Availability of the Services We aim to keep the Services available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Services may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, technical problems or reasons outside our control. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the Services, and we may release updates that you need to install for the app to keep working correctly. You are responsible for your own device, your internet connection and any data charges you incur. ## 15. Links and third party sites Our website and app may link to third party websites, clubs, partner brands and reporting bodies. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss you suffer from using them. ## 16. Our liability to you Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that: - We provide the Services on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that a report will lead to any particular outcome, or that any club, venue or authority will act on it in a particular way or within a particular timeframe. - We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any club, venue operator, safeguarding body, police force, partner brand or other third party. - We are not liable for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable at the time you started using the Services. - If you use the Services for any commercial or business purpose, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity. Where we are liable to you, our total liability in connection with the Services is limited to £100. ## 17. Suspending or ending your use You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access to the Services, without notice, if you breach these terms, if we suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity, or if we need to do so to protect other users, our partners or our staff. Ending your access does not affect any report already submitted, which may still be processed and retained in line with our Privacy Policy. ## 18. Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Services, to our partners or to the law. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Where changes are significant, we will let you know through the app, by email or on our website. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms. ## 19. General If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we do not enforce a right under these terms straight away, that does not mean we have given up that right. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to another business, and we will tell you if that happens. These terms are between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce them. ## 20.
